This policy explains what information DNARoster ("we", "us") collects when you use the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using DNARoster, you agree to the practices described here.
Account information. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google so we can create and identify your DNARoster account. We never see or store your Google password.
Usage data. We track how many AI-powered simulations and head-to-head analyses your account (or, before you log in, your anonymous browser session) has generated, so we can enforce free-tier limits.
Content you create. Roster simulations, matchup analyses you generate, votes you cast in the fan prediction poll, and likes you give to simulations, matchups, or team projections are stored and associated with your account.
Technical data. Your IP address is used transiently to enforce rate limits on AI-generation endpoints - it is not stored permanently or linked to your profile.
We do not sell your personal information.
DNARoster uses cookies required for the site to function: a session cookie to keep you signed in and a CSRF cookie to protect against cross-site request forgery. We do not currently use advertising cookies.
We use Google Analytics to understand overall site traffic and usage (e.g. which pages are visited, how often). Google Analytics sets its own cookies to do this - see Google's privacy policy for details on how it handles that data.
Google Sign-In is used for authentication, and Google Analytics for site traffic/usage analytics - see Google's own privacy policy for how it handles your data.
AI providers (OpenAI, or Amazon Bedrock). Team, player, and matchup data is sent to our AI provider to generate analysis. We do not send your name, email, or other personal account information as part of those requests.
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us below, and we'll remove it except where we're required to keep records for legal or security reasons.
DNARoster is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy as DNARoster changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do; continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
